Shipping

IMPORTANT: All shipping times and delivery dates provided by BalancePlus are estimates only and are not guaranteed, including expedited or express services. Delays may occur due to weather, carrier limitations, transportation disruptions, or customs processing.

Once an order has been shipped and transferred to the carrier, all risk of loss, responsibility, and any additional charges pass to the customer. BalancePlus is not liable for shipping delays, delivery failures, lost or damaged shipments, or additional carrier charges.

BalancePlus does not file claims with carriers on behalf of customers.


Order Processing

All orders, services, and repairs are processed in the order they are received and are typically shipped within 2 business days of processing.

  • Orders received before 8:00am EST/EDT will generally ship the next business day
  • Orders received after 8:00am EST/EDT will generally ship within 2 business days

Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary.


Shipping Details

  • The estimated delivery date shown at checkout may not be accurate
  • Shipping rates and quotes are subject to change at the time of shipment without notice
  • Carriers may be changed at time of shipment to provide the best value and service
  • Oversized packages (such as brooms) will be shipped via FedEx or Purolator
  • UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes — a valid street address is required
  • All orders are shipped EX WORKS (EXW) and shipping charges do not include insurance

International Orders

International shipments may be subject to additional charges including duties, taxes, and brokerage fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.

Please check with your local government for import requirements.


Delivery Information Requirements

To ensure successful delivery, please provide:

  • Recipient Name (must match delivery location)
  • Full Address (street, city, province/state, postal/ZIP code)
  • Phone Number
  • Unit Number (if applicable)
  • Special Instructions (if needed)

Incomplete or incorrect information may result in delays or additional fees.


Sending Shoes for Installation

Outside Canada

Parcels sent to BalancePlus must be clearly marked:

  • Declared value: $1 for customs (insurance should reflect replacement value)
  • Description: Temporary import for alteration and repair

If completing a USPS Customs Declaration:

  • Check: “Returned Goods”, “Merchandise”, and “Other”
  • Write: “Temporary import for service”
  • HS Tariff Number: 9992.00

Failure to follow these instructions may result in additional duties or delays.


Within Canada

To avoid delays:

  • Select “Signature Required” with Canada Post, or
  • Use a courier that provides door-to-door service
  • Purchase insurance based on replacement value

Returns & Exchanges

If an item does not fit properly, you may request an exchange for an unused and unworn item.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unlaundered
  • Items must be returned in original packaging and condition
  • Any product that has been worn, used, altered, or laundered is non-returnable

Return Shipping

  • Return shipping must be prepaid by the customer
  • All shipping-related expenses are the responsibility of the customer

If shipping charges were not paid on the original order, those charges will not be credited or refunded.


Customs (Returns)

All returned parcels must be marked:

  • Declared value: $1 for customs
